Vic: Legalise dope but not injecting rooms, young people say

Young people in Victoria say marijuana should be legalised and IVF should be available
to everyone, but plans for heroin injecting rooms should be scrapped.

They are some of the proposals made by five youth forums and presented to the Victorian
parliament today.

The forums reveal that young people believe they're poorly portrayed in the media and
unfairly stereotyped by older people.

Representatives from the forum also say too much money is being spent on the Sydney Olympics.

They say the stadiums should be sold and the money given to the poor.
