MELBOURNE, Feb 25 AAP - Federal Treasurer Peter Costello today said embattled Governor-GeneralPeter Hollingworth could have better handled allegations of child sex abuse during histime as Anglican Archbishop of Brisbane.

But Mr Costello said Dr Hollingworth had admitted that fact and had addressed all theallegations against him, chiefly that he tried to cover up claims of sex abuse by churchofficials.
